HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTOR

• 
  Wage: 120k/yr. Bonuses
• Sign on Bonus: $5,000 ($2,500 paid at 90/180 days)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating on-call

A Day in the Life:

• Conduct resident assessments for potential new residents
• Ensure department is compliant with all DSHS standards
• Manage a team of nurses and resident care coordinator that oversee caregivers and day to day care operations
• Oversee medication assistance program as well as do nurse delegation for the building
• Interact regularly with doctors and health care professionals to ensure residents’ care needs are met
• Meet with resident family members to ensure their expectations are met
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, orientation, supervision and coaching of caregiving staff and performance appraisals/evals as needed
• Assure appropriate revenue capture by accurately capturing resident’s needs

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least two years’ management experience in long term care preferably in Assisted Living
• Sensitive to and knowledgeable of issues related to aging
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Valid CPR
• Ability to pass DSHS Background check (some negative actions are negotiable)
